GFCT is non-profit parent organization whose primary goals are:

• To promote and encourage children’s gymnastics in the community
• To support and aid child gymnasts in competitions
• To educate competitors and the public about competitive and general gymnastics.

These goals are accomplished through fundraising efforts which include hosting USA Gymnastics Sanctioned competitive meets, e-script, plant sales, dinning and shopping nights out, sponsors and direct donations. 

With these funds GFCT has been able to assist families of competitive gymnasts by supplementing high costs of local, regional, and nationals competitions.

The team of GFCT and Peninsula Gymnastics typically host four USA Gymnastics sanctioned meets each season, including the following recent State Championships:

• NorCal Girls Level 5 State Championships-2002
• NorCal Girls Level 7 State Championships -2006
• NCBGA Boys Level 4 State Championships-2007
