   Girls Competitive Gymnastics
Our girls team program, run by head coach Jessica Wickizer, participates in both USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program and TOPs elite development program. We now have numerous champions at the state and regional level.

Our competitive team program requires a year round commitment to training and competition from both gymnasts and parents. Girls ages 5-7 who show a strong desire and physical potential to be competitive gymnasts are placed into our developmental/pre-team program. These girls are selected by coaches evaluation and/or invitation ONLY.

Similar to the accelerated classes in school, the developmental program is designed to serve the needs of our most talented students.  Developmental programs are common in gymnastics schools across the country.  Gymnasts are selected from classes for beginners because they show athletic talent at a young age.  The idea is to put the athletes with the most potential in the same class so that they can learn from each other.
  There are three main areas that we aim to develop:
1)  Strength
2)  Flexibility
3)  Mental Discipline

The mental aspect of gymnastics is important to develop at a young age.  This includes being able to stand still, listen, and understand corrections.  We also want our students to develop a passion for gymnastics and understand the connection between hard work and improvement.

Girls Compulsory Team: Level 5 - 6

Our Level 5 & 6 Compulsory team competes throughout Northern California up to and including Zone and State Championships. In 2005 our Level 5 Team placed 2nd at the NorCal State Championships!
Girls Optional Team: Level 7 - 10
  Girls Optional Team: Level 7 - 10

Gymnasts who progress on to the optional levels have the opportunity to compete throughout NorCal as well as attend Regional and National competitions if qualified. In 2006 our Level 8 Team placed 1st at the Spirit of the Flame Competition and our Level 9 Team placed 1st at the Golden State Classic.
