About Us

Peninsula Gymnastics was founded in 1995 by Mikhail Margulis, Anna Margulis, and Mark Kachko. In 1999, Courtney Johnson joined the team, to later take ownership of the San Mateo facility and continue to develop the Peninsula Gymnastics legacy.

Our community strives to create healthy lifestyles in youth through the sport of gymnastics. We have become a pillar in our community by teaching thousands of children self-confidence, the art of performance and good sportsmanship over the last 20 years. With the support of our incredible team, we are able to spread these values to children at our two Bay Area locations in San Mateo and San Carlos.
